-I can't seem to make signs function for buying and selling, though old signs still work. It could very easily be something I'm doing wrong, so if someone that knows how to do it fairly well could check if they're capable of it for me and tell me if they're experiencing the same issue, I'd greatly appreciate it.-

Answered. Turns out the buy/sell was a missed step on my end, and the monster thing was just too many monsters in the map elsewhere.
